Wyldecrest Parks recently sponsored the World Welsh Snooker Open 2011. The tournament was called The Wyldecrest Parks Welsh open and ran from February 14 to 20 at the Newport Centre and featured the top 16 players in the world. John Higgins successfully defended the title he won last year, by beating Stephen Maguire 9-6 in the Final. The tournament also featured Betfred.com World Champion Neil Robertson, Rocket Ronnie O'Sullivan, Welsh ace Mark Williams and many more of the sport's top stars. World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn said: "Wyldecrest sponsored the World Seniors Championship last November and we are thrilled that they deemed that event such a success that they have decided to sign up for the Welsh Open.
"We've just secured a new three-year broadcast agreement with the BBC which includes the Welsh Open, so with a new title sponsor as well, the tournament has a fresh lease of life. This is another step forward as we usher in a great era for snooker.

Wyldecrest Parks sponsor the World Senior snooker tournament 2010.

World Snooker is delighted to announce Wyldecrest Park Homes as the title sponsor The World Seniors Championship 2010.
The tournament, which is called the Wyldecrest Park Homes World Seniors Championship, featured many of the sport's legends, with seven former world champions in the line up.
Steve Davis, Dennis Taylor, Cliff Thorburn, Joe Johnson, John Parrott, Peter Ebdon, Ken Doherty, Nigel Bond and People's Champion Jimmy White battled in out for the £20,000 top prize in the event which ran from November 5 to 7 at the Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford.
World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn said: "We are very pleased to bring a new title sponsor on board in Wyldecrest. They have previously sponsored our Premier League Bowls event so we know about the quality of their operation.
"The World Seniors will be a fantastic event for anyone who loves snooker. There are some great characters involved so it will be a lot of fun, with the players all determined to land the top prize."
